Shipping Information
Alaskan Family Seafoods ships your frozen seafood via FedEx standard overnight delivery in an insulated box. Additional Fees apply for FedEx Priority locations and you will be contacted before your seafood is shipped to any of those locations. It is best to have someone available to receive the package from FedEx. If no-one is home to receive your seafood, FedEx will leave it on your doorstep.
We also ship Alaska Air Cargo if you live in an area where Alaska Air Cargo ships. You have to be able to go to the cargo location to pick up your seafood. If you are interested in using this shipping option please call us to coordinate it.
Alaskan Family Seafoods ship orders Tuesday and Wednesday (not including holidays)….
We make every effort to ship your order on the next available ship day after the order is received. Orders must be received by 2:00 pm Alaska Time in order to be shipped out the following day. If you would like to request a specific ship day you may do so in the comments section during the order process or by calling us directly.
Things you should know about your shipment…
Your order will be shipped to the shipping address given during the order process. Alaskan Family Seafoods is not responsible for and will not be able to refund or do a reshipment of seafood because of a delivery failure due to an incorrect address given by a customer.
When you receive your Alaskan Seafood it should arrive in a frozen or partial - frozen state. If your seafood is not at least cold to the touch upon arrival, please call us for guidance.
Upon arrival your seafood should go immediately into the freezer if you intend to keep it for later use. Otherwise place your seafood in the refrigerator to thaw.
Prices include FREE shipping if order is 10 lbs or more throughout the United States excluding Hawaii. Additional Fees apply for FedEx Priority locations and you will be contacted before your seafood is shipped to any of those locations.We are more than happy to fill custom orders, please contact us and we will be happy to work with you.
